Picture(Not really my pano.)

Just a quick update for those of you who are wondering how things are coming along…

My Oncology nurse explained that I have to get any and all dental work completed before I will be allowed to start chemotherapy. Due to the lowered immunities and bleeding problems caused by chemo, even a slightly marginal tooth condition can very quickly escalate to a dangerous infection, and become impossible to fight.  Absolutely ZERO dental work can be completed during chemo.

Because of this, the start of my chemotherapy treatment has been put off a bit longer – so – I still don’t have a chemo start date for anyone.  (But, man-oh-man, I would MUCH rather have chemo over going to the dentist.  AAAGGHHHHH!!!!!)

Luckily, I ran into a guardian angel two weeks ago who suggested I have any “dental impediments” taken care of a.s.a.p.  So, I have already scheduled all of my dental work and I’m currently working on getting it all knocked out.  Including the knocking out of a molar.  (Insert sad face and tapioca-for-a-week here.)  I’ll update you again real soon…
